What is Container Loading Supervision?

What is the process of Bureau Veritas’ Container Loading Supervision?

The Container Loading Supervision process includes evaluating the condition of the container; verifying product information and quantities being loaded, and overall supervision of the loading process.

  1. Inspector communicates with the factory representative to introduce the loading procedure.
  2. Verify the quantity of loading containers.
  3. Verify the product information and quantity against Packing List and Shipping Documents. Photo of the carton box, product packaging, and product will be taken and included in the final report.
  4. Make sure the right product is being loaded.
  5. Check and ensure the container is in good condition e.g., dry, clean, unimpaired, and suitable for loading. Prevent risks of water leakage that may affect package condition and product quality.
  6. Supervise that the products are loaded appropriately during acceptable weather conditions. 
  7. After the products are loaded, the container will be sealed safely. 
  8. Issue result report – whether it passes, or fails, pending to client’s decision.
