The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) voted in favor of approving 16 CFR 1238, Safety Standard for Stationary Activity Centers. The Final Rule was published in the Federal Register on June 18, 2019. The Final Rule will become effective December 18, 2019 and will apply to products manufactured or imported on or after the effective date.

The Final Rule adopts ASTM F2012-18e1, Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Stationary Activity Centers with no modifications.
